Minister Finance Punjab, Hashim Jawan Bakht launches innovative pilots on Public Financial Management and Fiscal Space of the Sub-National Governance Programme’s Innovation Challenge Fund Round 1.
The pilots on E procurement, Pifra analytics, integrated tax data bases, property tax automation, vehicle tax enforcement, smart monitoring of distilleries and automation of licensing will work with the Finance Department, Excise deparments and Punjab Revenue Authority. The pilots were selected after a long and thorough process of more than 9 months.
The winning organisations were awarded the contracts by Minister Finance and Team Lead Punjab.
The launch event was attended by Chairman Planning and Development Board, Chairman Punjab Revenue Authority Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board, and members of the private, academic and policy sector.
