Strengthening Local Government Systems
As a part of the District Engagement Strategy SNG Punjab District team held three sessions with local bodies of Kasur, Nankana Sahab and Kasur.
These sessions were conducted with the support of focal persons in all the districts. Relevant enactments/laws under the Punjab Local Government Act 2019 for budgeting, transparency, accountability and citizen engagement were emphasized in these sessions.
