The Provincial Steering Committee meeting of SNG was held at the Planning and Development Board Punjab with Secretary/Chairman P&D in the chair.
Secretary/Chairman P&D Board appreciated the support provided by SNG and FCDO to the government during the last year especially while formulating the province’s COVID response interventions.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Excise and Taxation, Secretary Local Government and representatives from Finance and PRA. Ms Annabely Gerry and her team represented the FCDO.
Sec LG showed complete ownership of SNG’s local government strategy. ICF round 2 shortlisted ideas on governance and climate change were approved and activities in south cluster were also approved for roll out.
